Due to continued growth, their progressive business is seeking a proven Sales Executive, with both inside sales and presentation skills, to build relationships with new and existing clients. You will predominantly be contacting the marketing departments within Blue Chip Corporates, Charities, Agencies & Design Groups, the Entertainment Industry, Government Bodies and Independent Clubs & Societies.

 

Their significant investment in marketing will provide many relevant leads for you to leverage from, alongside client accounts to maximise, whilst developing new business too.

The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will have overall responsibility for managing the company's National Sales Force that will include teams of field sales personnel , national accounts managers, export and telesales personnel, and your role will encompass the following key activities:- " Developing, implementing and directing an aggressive sales strategy which facilitates significant growth during the next 3 years.

" Devising a robust sales structure, including processes, skills development and measurement systems to ensure sales targets are consistently delivered.

"Developing new sales channels whilst ensuring current business relationships are maintained.

"Working closely with other internal departments to encourage and develop a team-orientated, success-driven culture.

The Person
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a continuous track record of success, high levels of leadership skills, industry knowledge, resilience, enthusiasm, charisma, and a real desire to win. You will have worked at senior sales or general management level within a non-food FMCG organisation with large, diverse product ranges and be able to cope with the demands of a fast-moving and challenging environment. A structured approach to developing a professional sales organisation is essential, as is the ability to select, train and motivate. You will be expected to possess excellent communication skills at all levels, a keen commercial acumen, be a self-starter and lead by examples.
